Three major car accidents happened almost simultaneously Sunday night in the San Angelo area.

Sunday night police were dispatched about a roll over with a driver trapped inside a vehicle. Around 7:19 p.m. police arrived to extract a driver at the northwest corner of The Bluffs. A white compact car ran into a stop sign and ran into the path of a blue SUV, where his vehicle rolled over and became trapped. The driver was reported to be Arrielle Ramirez, 18, of San Angelo.

During the time San Angelo Fire Department and EMS were responding to the roll over accident, another major accident was report through 911 on intersection W. Harris St. and Abe. Ave on their way to Quail Valley and out towards Robert Lee.

Reports say that an adult female suffered from head injuries, and was in a car accident with two other children. The two children, one who is 2-years-old, were not hurt. The female was reported to be Micah Bignall, 25, of San Angelo, driving a tan GMC Yukon and traveling northbound on FM 2288.

A third accident happened to a green Ford F-150 driven by Joseph Riddle, 56, of Carlsbad, heading southbound on FM 2288 approaching RM 853 and struck a car in front of him.

Police indicated that vehicle one disregarded the stop sign, where vehicle two hit vehicle one during the car accident, with the third accident following shortly afterwards.
