Round Rock Sibling Fatal Car Accident

According to Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, Kylie was the driver and Ryan was the passenger of a 2009 Mazda 3 traveling southbound on Hwy 183 near Oakalla. Witness say the Mazda drifted off the road, returned to main lane and then drifted off the road again -- but over corrected. The Mazda skidded, crossing the dividing line and into the path of a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. No alcohol was involved, DPS says. The condition of the driver of the Dodge Ram is unknown.

The Murphy family released this statement: "The Murphy family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to everyone for their wonderful out pouring of support during the tragic and unexpected loss. Natassia, Kylie and Ryan are and will always be the lights of the their parent's hearts. The unexpected loss of Kylie and Ryan has forever left a void in every life they have touched. With Kylie's caring spirit she glowed brighter than a star and touched everyone's heart she met. Ryan was the comedian of the family and considered quite the charmer.

The unexpected loss of these beautiful young people has left our family suffering greatly. Our family would also like to exted our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the other driver that was involved in this horrific accident. We have not forgotten his grief during this traumatic time. We are grateful beyond belief of the support of Round Rock and extended communities, along with Texas Tech University. Your support has been and will continue to be essential to our healing. At this time we also ask the media to respect our privacy as we work through our grief." (Photos Courtesy: The Murphy Family)

Texas Tech spokesman Chris Cook released a statement saying "We are deeply saddened at the passing of Kylie and Ryan. The university extends its deepest sympathies to their family and friends." Texas Department of Public safety has not released any information on the accident.
