A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Saturday evening on Texas 71 near Bob Wire Road, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
The incident, reported at 7:24 p.m., took place roughly midway between the communities of Spicewood and Bee Cave, a DPS official said. The name of the victim was not immediately released, and the official didn't know if other people were injured or how the wreck occurred.
Legal investigation into the accident is ongoing.
