In Martin County, a young man of only 18 years of age was killed in a tragic oilfield accident. The young man was operating a forklift and unloading a doghouse on top of a semi-trailer. He was caught between the forklift and semi and consequently crushed to death.
Another oilfield accident took the life of a man in Hurst, Texas. The man was working on site for Trans Power Electric, Inc. as a spotter for a trenching machine. The trenching machine rolled backwards and pinned the man in between the digging wheel and the ground. The man died before arriving at the local hospital. Authorities say that investigation into the exact cause of the accident is ongoing.
