TYLER, TX - Tuesday morning, a 23-year-old rider, Kendrick Lee Clark was in a firey wreck involving a passenger vehicle and his motorcycle. Clark, a resident of Palestine, was fatally hit by a passenger vehicle under the control of Helen Rice Turner, 71, who resides in Lindale.
Investigators at the accident concluded that Turner was going northbound on South Broadway and making a left turn on a yellow blinking light into the shopping center parking lot. Her vehicle was then struck by the motorcycle traveling southbound on South Broadway.
According to authorities and witnesses, both the motorcycle and Clark caught fire upon impact with the turning automobile.
The 23-year-old driver, Clark, was rushed to ETMC where he died from fatal injuries sustained from the crash. Turner was also transported to ETMC for observation.
