The Austin Fire Department says a fatal crash involving a truck and a car on Harris Branch Parkway near East Parmer Lane on Tuesday injured three people.
The accident happened around 7 p.m.
Austin-Travis County EMS says the person in a truck was ejected and died on scene.
Two children riding in the car were injured, one went into cardiac arrest and has life-threatening injuries. The other child has potential life-threatening injuries. Both children are receiving treatment at Dell Children's Medical Center.
The driver of the car has serious injuries and is at University Medical Center Brackenridge.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
