A greyhound bus carrying 20 passengers, including Special Olympic participants, was involved in an accident in Austin on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.
The bus was traveling southbound on I-35 near the Airport Boulevard exit when a car collided into the back of the bus. The bus had been stopped in traffic at the time of the collision.
It was reported that a total of six people were taken to near by hospitals in Austin by an ambulance to be treated for non-life threatening injuries from the accident. The bus driver drove seventeen other passengers to the hospital to be evaluated.
