The Collin County Medical Examiner has now identified the two men killed in a crane collapse on the University of Texas at Dallas campus over the weekend.
The men are 58-year old Thomas Fairbrother, Jr. and 50-year old Terry Weaver.
Weaver is from Grand Saline, about 64 miles east of Dallas. Hometown information was not available for Fairbrother.
Both men were working on the construction site of the campus' new Arts and Technology Building when authorities say the crane toppled. The official cause of death for both men is ruled as blunt force injuries.
The crane was being dismantled at the time of the collapse, and fell across the partially constructed building. It's believed strong winds may have played a factor.
The contractor, Hunt Construction Group, stated on its website that it is working closely with OSHA and local authorities.
No students were injured. Meanwhile, some members of the UTD student body are now coordinating assistance for the victims' families.
