18 wheeler accident caught live on camera

Icy roads around Bryan-College Station Tuesday morning continued on to be dangerous to many drivers that Tuesday morning in Robertson County.

Cold weather is to be blamed for accidents that occurred on Highway 6, north of Hearne. Around 7:15am, red Chevy truck slid off the road into a median, but suffered no injuries, however the tow truck had trouble loading the Chevy into the vehicle, due to the icy conditions.

During that time, a semi-truck skidded off the road on the opposite side of the scene a few feet away. The truck had jackknifed on the side of the highway and diesel fuel began leaking from the tanks.

State Troopers were caught live at the scene, who rushed over to help the truck driver to safety. The truck driver was in okay condition.
The Hearne Fire Department, alongside Robertson Country sheriffs rushed to the scene.

DPS officials said no one was seriously hurt during the semi-truck accident.
